Free Benefits Training - July 2011
Introduction to Benefits
Dates: 11 and 12 July
This course suitable for anyone who has a client caseload; in particular it will be very valuable to any one who has to undertake Social Work duty. The course focuses on basic awareness of the process of income maximisation, which has substantially changed within the CHCP.
Introduction to Welfare Rights and Welfare Reform
Dates: 8, 15, 22, 29 July)
This half day course is aimed at all workers who carry a caseload. The course will highlight the referral and support process offered by the Welfare Rights team, highlighting the cases that can be directly referred to WR. It will also highlight some of the major changes to the welfare system.
Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
Dates: 4 5 19 25 July
This new course which will focus on the practicalities of making a claim to ESA and completing the medical questionnaire.
