Established in 2000, JARCS (Jean Alcock Research and Consultancy Services) works to:
- encourage and improve the free flow of information.
- improve access for disabled people to learning, employment and leisure opportunities.
- advise on accessibility of services, with particular emphasis on the production and dissemination of information.
- identify/confirm gaps in service.
- organise accessible conferences/events.
- design & run training on disability related topics.
