This course is for trainers with dyslexia experience who want to find out more about the PDA with the view to offering it through SQA Centres.

Working with top class specialist trainers, I offer training courses on a variety of topics relevant to practitioners supporting people who face barriers to learning, employment and leisure because of disability or other social disadvantage.

I can organise every aspect of a training course from hiring a venue, publicity and registering trainees to producing the course report and evaluation.

Alternatively, I can work with an organisation's training officer to bring in specialist expertise.

Broad Topics

  • Production of Accessible Information, including designing and maintaining Accessible Websites
  • Disability Awareness and practical guidance on how to lower the barriers facing disabled people
  • Disability Discrimination Legislation
  • Dyslexia Awareness and support for adults in employment, education and community learning

Courses will be tailored to meets the need of trainees and other topics will be considered.
